Athletistic/Hockey. Former NHL and KHL forward Pavel Datsyuk shared his thoughts on his inclusion in the Hockey Hall of Fame. Datsyuk became the tenth Russian hockey player to receive this honorary title.

“A lot of my friends told me I should wait for that call. I was really looking forward to it. When the Hall of Fame called me to tell me the good news, I was happy and I’m slowly realizing it now. It involved a conference call with several people, including Lenny MacDonald.

I didn’t think much about it because you can’t prepare for something like that. I didn’t think too much about it: if it happened, it would be great, especially since it hasn’t happened in a long time. When they called me, I had emotions, but I understood from my mood and my voice that everything was fine, and I was happy when they told me,” reported the correspondent of the “Championship” lyrics by Datsyuk.
