Colorado forward Nathan Mackinnon became the owner of the Hart Trophy, awarded to the most valuable hockey player in the NHL regular season, according to the league’s website.
According to the voting results, MacKinnon received 1,740 points. The Russian forward from Tampa took second place. Nikita Koucherov — 1269 points, Canadian Connor McDavid took third place – 845 points. Rangers forward Artemi Panarin scored 175 points and took fifth place. In the NHL regular season, Kucherov scored 144 points (44+100), MacKinnon – 140 (51+89), McDavid – 132 (32+100).
