Athletistic / Hockey. Last night, the NHL held a ceremony to present personal awards for the 2023/2024 season. Tampa Bay Lightning Russian forward Nikita Kucherov was selected to the symbolic team of stars of the season.
Kucherov received 187 first places out of 187 in the voting for the best right winger. Thus, the 31-year-old Russian became the first hockey player in the last 22 years to receive unanimous recognition when he was selected to the NHL’s team of the season. In 2002, Canadian Calgary Flames forward Jerome Iginla was first out of 60 ballots.
Note that Nikita Kucherov took second place in the voting for the Most Valuable Player award at the end of the NHL regular season (Hart Memorial Trophy), behind Colorado Avalanche forward Nathan MacKinnon.
Nikita Kucherov scored 144 (44+100) points for his performance and took first place in the list of top scorers of the NHL regular season.
