Former NHL hockey player Gross will join Dynamo Minsk

Minsk”Dynamo “reached an agreement to sign a contract with the American defender Jordan Gross reports the press service of the hockey club.

The terms of the 29-year-old’s contract were not disclosed.

Gross spent last season with the AHL club Milwaukee Admirals. In 48 regular season games, the hockey player scored 22 (6+16) points and made one assist in 12 playoff games. During the 2021/22 season, Gross was recognized as the best defenseman in the AHL.

In the NHL, Gross played for the Nashville Predators, Colorado Avalanche and Arizona Coyotes, with a total of 7 points (3+4) in 25 league games.

In the 2023/24 KHL season, Dynamo Minsk lost to the club of the same name from Moscow in the first round of the Gagarin Cup with a score of 2-4.

The new KHL season will start on September 3. In the opening match, the Minsk team will host Amur Khabarovsk on September 5.
