Goalie “Metallurgist » Ilya Nabokov held discussions with 24 clubs ahead of the 2024 National Hockey League rookie draft, player agent Shumi Babaev said.
At the end of last season, the 21-year-old Nabokov was recognized as the most valuable player in the playoffs and also became the best rookie of the season.
“Before the NHL draft, Ilya Nabokov conducted 24 interviews with different clubs in the league,” Babaev wrote on the social network.
The first round of the NHL Draft will take place in Paradise (Nevada, USA) on the night of June 28-29, Moscow time.
