Four Russian hockey players have been selected in the first round of the 2024 NHL Draft.

Defender Anton Silaev Nizhny Novgorod’s “Torpedo” was drafted by the American club “New Jersey” under the tenth number.

Russian attacker Egor Surin from the Yaroslavl Lokomotiv system, he was drafted by the American club Nashville under the number 22.

Ahead of Muskegon (Michigan, USA) Matvey Gridin was drafted by the Canadian club Calgary under the number 28.
