Coach S.K.A. Yevgeny Koreshkov talked about the transition from CSKA in a club in Saint Petersburg.

– How was your transition from CSKA headquarters to SKA headquarters? Many consider you the best assistant in the KHL.

“A lot of work has been done there in four years. We keep the best memories of the staff, the technical staff. Great guys, great players. And now I’m already in SKA. We will try to win here.

– You have a lot of young guys at SKA.

Yes, I noticed that too. I worked with the youth team for five years. And I always tried to have as many young players as possible in the senior team.

Are you more responsible for the attack?

– Of course, I’m on the forwards. My profile plays in unequal compositions, that is to say in the majority. I have to take into account all the moments of the attackers in the attacking and defending zone.

– Let me clarify: has your contract with CSKA expired?

– Not really. I had one more year left. We discussed what is needed to start even further and even higher. Maybe this transition is only for the better.

– Did you want to leave? Where did you leave CSKA?

“I couldn’t do it, unfortunately. But I’m sure it’s still ahead.
