Three Russian hockey players joined the Utah development camp

Hockey players of Yaroslavl “Lokomotiv” Daniel Booth And Dmitry Simashev And Artem Duda joins the development camp “Utah” reports the NHL club’s press service.

The development camp will take place from July 1 to 5.

In April, the National Hockey League (NHL) Board of Governors approved the relocation of the Arizona Coyotes to Salt Lake City. Once approved, the Coyotes transferred all existing hockey assets to the Utah franchise, which will make its NHL debut in the 2024–25 season.

Duda was selected 36th overall by Arizona in the 2022 draft. Simashev and Booth were drafted by Arizona in 2023 with the 6th and 12th picks, respectively.

Last season, Simashev and Booth of Lokomotiv reached the Gagarin Cup final, in which they lost to Metallurg Magnitogorsk (0-4).
