Tampa Bay Lightning signed a seven-year contract with the American striker Jake Guentzel reports the club’s press service.
The player’s salary will be 9 million euros per season. On Monday, Tampa traded Guentzel from Carolina for a third-round pick in the 2025 draft.
With Carolina, Guentzel played 17 NHL regular season games and scored 25 (8+17) points and 9 (4+5) points in 11 playoff games. He has been playing for the team since March 2024.
Gunzel previously played for Pittsburgh, where he won the Stanley Cup in 2017.
