Ufa “Salavat Yulaev » signed a contract with the Canadian striker Sheldon Rempal reports the press service of the hockey club.
The agreement with the 28-year-old hockey player is for one year.
During the 2023/24 season, Rempal played nine NHL games for the Vegas Golden Knights, in which he scored 3 points (2+1). He also has 45 points (27 goals, 18 assists) in 63 games with the Henderson Silver Knights of the American Hockey League.
Previously in the NHL, the forward also played for the Vancouver Canucks, Carolina Hurricanes and Los Angeles Kings.
Last season, Salavat Yulaev lost to Traktor in the first round of the Gagarin Cup with a score of 2:4.
In the first match of the new season, the Ufa club will host Ak Bars Kazan on September 5.
