The Minskers opened the scoring in the second period after a pinpoint shot from Stepan Zvyagin, which the Petersburgers responded with a puck from Zakhar Bardakov and a brace from Mikhail Vorobyov. Artem Fedorov finally summed up the end result.

SKA’s first goal was originally scored for the team’s newcomer Alexander Nikishin, but then the protocol was changed: suddenly the ex-Spartak defender, for whom SKA donated 9 players, became the author of the decisive pass.
