On July 3, Vladimir Tarasenko will sign a two-year contract with the Detroit Red Wings. For two years, he will earn $9.5 million.
Tarasenko was traded to Florida in the 2023-24 season by the Ottawa Senators. In 19 games for the Panthers in the NHL regular season, Tarasenko scored 14 (6+8) points in the goal+assist system. In 24 playoff games, the Russian scored 9 (5+4) efficient plays.
In the NHL, Vladimir Tarasenko managed to play for the New York Rangers and the St. Louis Blues. The Russian spent 11 seasons with the Bluesmen and won his first Stanley Cup in 2019.
