Athletistic/Hockey. Florida Panthers goalkeeper Sergei Bobrovsky, in an interview with Match TV, said that he was inspired by the example of MMA fighter Petr Yan at the UFC tournament in America and therefore went to the championship parade wrapped in the Russian flag.

Bobrovsky appeared at the Florida championship parade with the Russian flag after the team’s victory over Edmonton in the last playoff series, which ended in seven games.

“I think it’s important for all of us now.” Shortly before the playoffs, I was able to attend the UFC tournament. How cool it was to hear the song Basta at the Miami stadium, on which our fighter Peter Yan performed. In that fight, he defeated a Chinese fighter and, with the Russian flag on his shoulders, thanked everyone for their support. The whole stadium was behind him. Then I thought: “Cool, I wish I could do that!” – Bobrovsky told Match TV.

In the last NHL playoffs, Bobrovsky played 24 games, winning 16 games with a 2.32 save percentage and 90.6% save percentage, winning the Stanley Cup for the first time in his career.
