KHL registers controversial Canadian player’s contract with Dynamo Minsk

The Kontinental Hockey League has registered the forward’s contract Dillon Dube with Minsk”Dynamo “, reports the press service of the Belarusian club.

Dynamo had previously reported that an agreement had been reached to complete a deal for the Canadian striker.

Dube is 25 years old, he is the winner of the 2018 World Junior Championship as part of the Canadian national team. In the NHL, the forward played for the Calgary Flames, playing 325 games and scoring 127 points (57 goals and 70 assists).

Dube is one of the accused in a sex scandal involving players on Canada’s youth team. He is accused of sexual assault, as are four of his other partners. It had previously been reported that the trial in the case would not begin until August.

The KHL also signed two other North American players with the Dynamo: Xavier Ouellet and Jordan Gross.
