Athletistic / Hockey. Russian defender Artem Duda has signed a contract with the Utah NHL club, the hockey player’s agent Dan Milstein said.
Duda signed a 3-year standard entry-level contract with the new National Hockey League club. In the 2022 NHL Entry Draft, Artyom was selected by the Arizona Coyotes in the second round, 36th overall.
In the summer of 2023, Duda left CSKA, where he is a pupil, for the United States. It is noteworthy that he did this while he had a valid contract with the military team. At first, the Russian signed a contract with the NCAA team of the University of Maine, but in December the league banned the defender from playing for this club due to an employment agreement with CSKA. Since December 2023, Duda has been playing in the Canadian University League for the University of Toronto.
In the summer of 2024, the NHL initiated the move of Arizona to Utah. The team will compete in Salt Lake City.
