Athletistic/Hockey. Former head coach of the Russian national team Vladimir Plyushchev shared his opinion on the problems of the KHL:

“Sometimes my ears are aching because of what I read in print. Some lunatics are asking us to copy everything in the NHL – for example, the pre-season and drafts, and also to abolish the limit for foreign players, as in the NHL. They do not understand that the NHL is the world elite that dictates the rules, and that we are in a difficult and dependent situation. They cannot calculate their moves, even one step forward.

“Maybe this is being done deliberately so that hockey businessmen can profit from our sport again. It hurts me to read such publications and discuss these “reforms”. With our own hands, we are achieving with our hockey what our competitors have been dreaming of for decades,” Plyushchev told Russia-Hockey.ru.
