Former director “Tractors” Andrey Balandin believes that the Chelyabinsk club’s striker Anton Bourdassov doesn’t earn his money.
Earlier it became known that Traktor wants to part ways with the hockey player. The 33-year-old’s current contract with the Chelyabinsk club runs until the end of the 2024/25 season.
— It is a pity that Anton is offended by Traktor. Burdasov really needs to understand that he is not keeping up with the pace and is getting old, and getting old fast. Losing speed for a hockey player is a bad sign. The fan wants to see Burdasov, who is holding the puck, running, shooting, scoring in every game.
For 30-40 million, Traktor needs it, no questions asked. He can play in the third or fourth line and not give him big tasks. And for 80 million, just tear and throw. Unfortunately, Burdasov does not earn his money. In my opinion, he has some kind of hidden injury that is kept silent about, which does not allow him to fully reveal himself and bring maximum benefit to the team. One can guess, but only the player himself knows the truth,” Balandin tells RB Sport.
In the last KHL regular championship, 33-year-old Burdasov played 56 games and scored 36 (19+17) points. In the playoffs, he scored 8 (4+4) in 14 games.
