Athletistic / Hockey. Dynamo Moscow sports director Alexei Sopin said that the refusal of transfer cards by the International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF) would not affect the activities of the Blue and White. On July 17, the Federation Council approved a law giving professional sports leagues the right to organize competitions with the participation of foreign athletes, without depending on international sports federations.
“Now it is difficult for me to say how the innovations will affect Dynamo and other KHL clubs. We need some time to understand how it will work and function. At the moment, it will not affect Dynamo in any way – we have done it. “Previously, we had no problems with cards. The only thing is that now we will save money, because issuing a card for each player costs about 100,000 rubles,” Sopin said according to TASS.
On July 9, the KHL sent a letter to the FHR with a proposal to terminate the agreement on the delegation of rights to host domestic competitions. This happened after the KHL was able to agree with the Ministry of Sports of the Russian Federation on direct interaction, which allows it to gain independence from the FHR and the IIHF.
