As learned, the hockey player Evgeny Kuznetsov will arrive in St. Petersburg on Friday, July 26.
The 32-year-old forward had previously terminated his contract with Carolina in the NHL, receiving unrestricted free agent status.
Kuznetsov is expected to sign a four-year contract with SKA, where he will continue his career. Before that, the St. Petersburg club will make a number of trades in order to meet the salary cap.
Last season, Kuznetsov scored 17 points (6 goals, 11 assists) in 43 games with Washington, adding 13 points (6 goals, 7 assists) in 30 games with Carolina after the trade.
