SKA Michkov striker to miss more than two weeks, due to play tournament in late August – FHR

St. Petersburg striker S.K.A. and the national team of young stars of Russia (players under the age of 25) Matvey Michkov will miss two weeks due to injury, according to the press service of the Russian Ice Hockey Federation (FHR).

The hockey player was injured in the Sochi Hockey Open Betting League match between the Russian team (U25) and Dynamo Minsk (3:5). After a collision with Belarus defender Alexei Yemelin, the 17-year-old left the pitch.

– Michkov leaves the location of the Russian team. The striker will miss two weeks, plus a few days to recover.

It is expected that Michkov will participate in the Governor’s Cup of the Tula region as part of SKA-1946. The tournament will take place from August 22 to 26 in Tula.

Earlier, SKA head coach Roman Rotenberg said Michkov could recover for about two months.
