Attack Danny O’Regan signed a contract with Kunlun Red Star reports the press service of the KHL club.
The agreement with the 30-year-old striker is for one season.
O’Regan was born in Germany, where his father Tom, a former U.S. national team player and Pittsburgh hockey player, played in the 1990s. Danny O’Regan himself is a graduate of the U.S. National Hockey Training Program (USNDTP).
In the NHL, the forward played for San Jose, Buffalo and Anaheim. In total, he played 30 league games and scored 6 (1+5) points.
Last season, the forward played in the Swedish league for MoDo and scored 12 (4+8) points in 34 games.
