Canadian striker Nick Petan concluded an agreement with Kazan “Ak Barsom” reports the press service of the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL).
The 29-year-old’s contract is for one year.
Last season, Petan played six games with Minnesota in the NHL and recorded two assists. Earlier in the league, the forward also played for Vancouver, Toronto and Winnipeg. In total, he has 35 points (7+28) in 170 games.
The new KHL season starts on September 3. The Kazan team will play its first away game against Salavat Yulaev from Ufa on September 5.
