As learned, SKA plans to announce contract signing with two-time world champion Evgeny Kuznetsov Wednesday at noon Moscow time.
Kuznetsov arrived in St. Petersburg with his family on July 26. The 32-year-old forward has already terminated his contract with Carolina and was granted unrestricted free agent status. The hockey player is expected to sign a four-year contract with SKA.
Last season, Kuznetsov scored 24 (8+16) points in 63 regular season games with Washington and Carolina, adding 6 (4+2) points in 10 playoff games.
