Athletistic / Hockey. Traktor forward Dylan Sikura has spoken about his move to the Chelyabinsk club. The 29-year-old Canadian joined the KHL this offseason.
“I discussed my move to Russia with my family, as well as with Traktor CEO Alexei Volkov, we quickly found a common language with him. I am sure that the decision to invite me to the club was not based only on numbers. Volkov followed me for quite a long time and all negotiations went smoothly.
In Chelyabinsk, everything was ready for my arrival – right down to the apartment and bed linen and towels. Here, everything is organized at the NHL level,” Sikura was quoted as saying by the Traktor press service.
Dylan Sikura has played 58 NHL games and scored 17 (3+14) points using the goal+assist system. In the major North American league, the forward played for the Chicago Blackhawks, Colorado Avalanche and Vegas Golden Knights. In the 2023/2024 season, the Canadian played for Sweden’s Skellefteå, where he scored 26 goals (10+16) in 49 games.
