Athletistic / Hockey. Former head coach of the Russian national team Vladimir Plyushchev appreciated the transfer of Evgeny Kuznetsov to SKA. The 32-year-old Russian signed a four-year contract with the St. Petersburg club on July 31.

“Kuznetsov is already an experienced hockey player who has not only gone through the thickets of the NHL, but also played for the Russian national team. He has played leading roles in all his clubs. It seems to me that Kuznetsov will make a certain contribution. ” Which gives zest to the game of SKA, but at the moment it is difficult for me to say exactly how it will happen, because the important factor is who will play on the line with Evgeniy and how the coach will use him,” Plyushchev was quoted as saying by RB Sport.

Evgeniy Kuznetsov graduated from Chelyabinsk Traktor. Previously, in the KHL, he played exclusively for this team. In the NHL, the forward managed to play for the Washington Capitals (March 2014 – February 2024) and the Carolina Hurricanes (March 2024 – July 2024). SKA traded Kuznetsov’s rights to the KHL in the summer of 2017.
