Coaching staff Ukrainian national hockey team announced an extended roster for the training camp ahead of the final matches olympic qualification.
Dmitry Khristich’s team will begin training on August 16 in Budapest. The final part of the training camp will be a friendly match against the Hungarian team. Based on its results, the final roster for the qualification will be determined.

In the preliminary round of Olympic qualification, the blue-yellows defeated South Korea (4:0), beat the Polish team (3:2) in a shootout, and triumphed over Estonia (5:3).
In the final round, Khristić’s team will play France, Slovenia and Latvia. The matches will be held in Riga from August 29 to September 1. The winner of the quartet will receive a ticket to the 2026 Olympic Games.
