Offensive “Torpedo” Alexandre Darin said the decision to trade him Lokomotiv was unexpected, noting that he considers the transition to the Nizhny Novgorod team a new stage in his life.
In May, the 21-year-old striker signed a two-year contract with Torpedo.
– How did you react to Lokomotiv’s decision to trade me? All this was unexpected, because he spent his whole life in the same team. But, probably, everything went there, because I spent the whole last season in Perm. And before that there was an opportunity to move to other teams, and now, more than a year later, everything has happened.
What do I associate with the fact that last season I didn’t play a game in the KHL? It happened. Apparently, he did not pass the competition, he did not enter the team. I see trading in Torpedo as a new chapter in my life. The pre-season training camp is over, the test matches have started and I’m looking forward to the start of the season. For two seasons, the hockey player played 16 games for the main Lokomotiv team and scored 6 points (3 + 3).
