According to the voting results, Bobrovsky scored 468 points. Tampa Bay Lightning forward Nikita Kucherov took second place, 63 points behind the winner. Last season, he became the NHL’s top scorer in the regular season, scoring 144 (44+100) points using the goal+assist system. New York Rangers forward Artemi Panarin took third place with 227 points.
Note that the best representative of the KHL was the goalkeeper of the Magnitogorsk metallurgist Ilya Nabokov. The winner of the Gagarin Cup and the best player of the playoffs last season received 54 points and took the fifth place in the final.
Sergei Bobrovsky helped Florida win its first Stanley Cup. The Russian has been playing for the Panthers since 2019. He received two Vezina Trophies (NHL goaltender of the season) as a member of the Columbus Blue Jackets (2013, 2017). Note that this year, he was also nominated for the Vezina, but this time, the award went to American goaltender Connor Hellebuyck of the Winnipeg Jets.
