Athletistic / Hockey. NHL Network journalists have prepared a new version of the ranking of the best goaltenders in the National Hockey League (NHL). Four Russian representatives are in the top 10.
Russian Igor Shesterkin of the New York Rangers is currently recognized as the best goalie in the entire NHL. Tampa Bay Lightning goalie Andrei Vasilevsky took third place. Ilya Sorokin of the New York Islanders is in fifth place. And seventh was Florida Panthers goalie Sergei Bobrovsky.
NHL Network’s Top 10 NHL Goalies for August 2024:
- Igor Shesterkin (Russia, New York Rangers).
- Connor Hellebuyck (United States, Winnipeg Jets).
- Andrey Vasilevsky (Russia, Tampa Bay Lightning).
- Jeremy Swayman (USA, Boston Bruins).
- Ilya Sorokin (Russia, New York Islanders).
- Thatcher Demko (USA, Vancouver Canucks).
- Sergei Bobrovsky (Russia, Florida Panthers).
- Jake Ettinger (USA, Dallas Stars).
- Juuse Saros (Finland, Nashville Predators).
- Linus Ullmark (Sweden, Ottawa Senators).
Note that the award for the best goalie in the NHL at the end of the 2023/2024 season went to Connor Hellebuyck.
