On Sunday, Ak Bars played a friendly against Neftekhimik Nizhnekamsk. The match ended with the score of 4:1 in favor of the team from Kazan.
– In the match against Neftekhimik, the young players played well, with good movement and great desire, well done. It’s natural, they try to show their best qualities. At the same time, they are also under load, like the whole team, they go through training camps from day one. And the entry into the team will depend on them, we only wish them good luck.
A regular rotation in the season will be mandatory, because we have a good line-up – five lines, and everyone wants to play. We have to find a way to distribute playing time in such a way that the wolves are fed and the sheep are safe,” the club’s press office said, citing Znark.
The specialist also spoke about the team’s future plans for pre-season training.
– Then the team will have three days of unloading, because we have not reduced the load yet. Then we will play matches in Moscow – we will play with Vityaz and twice with Spartak. We added a meeting with Vityaz, because we don’t have many games in pre-season, and they made an offer. We accepted with pleasure – the team is big, everyone has to take part in real matches. At the training camp, every three days there is a match for two, but there is not the intensity of the fight necessary for the preparation, added Znarok.
The new KHL season begins on September 1.
