Attack Andrei Chibissov became a player of the Kazakh team “Arlan”, the press service of the hockey club reports.
The agreement with the 31-year-old Russian runs until the end of the 2024/25 season.
“Arlan” participates in the Kazakhstan championship among the men’s major league teams.
Last season, Chibisov moved to Traktor Chelyabinsk, but did not play a single match for them due to health problems.
The forward became a silver medalist at the 2022 Olympic Games in Beijing as part of the Russian national team. In the KHL, he played 445 matches and scored 182 (81+101) points, playing for Ak Bars, Metallurg Magnitogorsk and Yugra.
