New York Islanders defenseman Alexander Romanov described the striker’s career as excellent Evgenia Kuznetsova and also wished the SKA St. Petersburg hockey player good luck.
SKA announced the signing of Kuznetsov to a four-year contract on July 31. The 32-year-old forward previously played for Traktor Chelyabinsk, Washington, where he won the Stanley Cup, and Carolina.

The new KHL season starts on September 3.
