The blue-yellows started the tournament with two matches on the very first day of play
Hockey tournament kicks off in Czech Republic Trinec Open Cupin which the national team takes part Ukraine U-17.
On the first game day, the blue-yellows played two matches. First, they faced the tournament hosts, Sparta, in a tense game. After a 4:4 draw, the teams went to a shootout, where the Prague team turned out to be stronger.
The second game was much more successful for Ukraine. They beat Austrian Red Bull Salzburg with a score of 5:2.
Tomorrow, August 17, the blue-yellows will have two more matches in the tournament. First, they will meet with the Swedish Regle, after which they will play with the Czech Vitkovice.
