Last season, Laine, 25, played 18 games for Columbus, scoring 9 (6+3) points. Laine was selected in the first round, second overall, at the 2016 NHL Entry Draft. In total, the Finn has played 480 NHL games for Winnipeg and Columbus, scoring 388 (204+184) points.
