Nizhny Novgorod “Torpedo” defeated Moscow “Spartak” during a pre-season friendly match.
The match took place at Megasport Moscow and ended with a score of 3:2 in favor of Torpedo.
The guests scored three goals in a row thanks to the efforts of Vasily Atanasov, Sergei Goncharuk and Maxim Letunov, to which the “red-whites” then responded with accurate shots from Shane Prince and Alexander Pashin – he managed to score the goal 4 seconds before the final siren.
The new season of the FONBET KHL Championship starts on September 3. Torpedo will face Severstal in the first match of the season on September 4, and Spartak will host CSKA a day later.
