Hollywood actor Keanu Reeves has signed a one-day contract with the Windsor Spitfires of the Ontario Hockey League (OHL), the Canadian team’s press service reported.
Reeves played hockey as a child in Toronto and played as a goaltender. He was forced to end his athletic career due to injury.
Windsor posted photos of Reeves, 59, under contract and wearing the club’s uniform. It appears that all items signed by the actor will be auctioned off with 100 per cent of the proceeds going to the Canadian Mental Health Association of Windsor.
