“The League is constantly developing the format of the Kharlamov Cup final series, bringing the standards of its conduct closer to the standards of the KHL playoffs. Since the 2023/2024 season, all matches of the decisive confrontation are held every other day, thanks to which hockey players have time to recover before each meeting,” they reported to the league’s press service.
In addition to the rule changes, the KHL and MHL final series of games will now be held at different times. This decision will give fans the opportunity to watch the main games of the different leagues.
