Hockey Sports Director CSKA Denis Denisov told that the defender Christian Jarosz met all the criteria of the Moscow club when he played for Severstal, after which it was decided to dismiss him.

— What is the reason for Christian Jaros’ return to CSKA? He once played for the club, but was then traded to Severstal, and now we see him again in the ranks of the military club.
— In the 2022/23 season, we took him from Avangard, Christian joined the team very quickly. During the championship year, Christian received a lot of playing time, because at the time of his invitation we had problems with injuries among the main defenders. He played very well and certainly suited us, but at the end of the season he got injured and could not play a single match in the playoffs. Due to all these factors, it was decided that Christian had to prove that he was ready to spend a lot of time on the ice. He went to Severstal and was one of the main defenders there. At the end of the season, he took second place in points among defenders, playing an average of 20 minutes. And after considering all these criteria, he satisfied us, after which the decision was made to send him back to CSKA, ”Denisov told .
Last season, the 28-year-old defender played for Severstal, becoming the second most productive defender for the Cherepovets club, scoring 19 points in 44 games.
Yarosh has already played for CSKA and won the Gagarin Cup in 2023.
