Czech striker Tomas Jurcho explained why he decided not to stay in the Omsk Avangard and move to China Kunlun Red Star .
“I wanted to have a bigger role, have more time, be a majority actor, like I did in Kunlun.” That’s a big reason why I decided to come back here,” Yurcho was quoted as saying by “Championship.”
In the 2023/24 season, Yurcho played for Avangard Omsk, where he made 33 appearances and scored 21 points (11 goals and 10 assists).
Previously, the hockey player played for Kunlun in the 2022/23 season; in the KHL, he also defended the colors of Kazakh Barys.
