Defender salary Victor Antipin under contract with Kazakhstan “Barys” will amount to 30 million rubles, reports Metaratings.ru.
Last week, Antipin signed a one-year deal with Barys.
Antipin has played over 700 games in the KHL. He played for Metallurg Magnitogorsk, with whom he won the Gagarin Cup, SKA, Vityaz, Salavat Yulaev and Traktor. He also spent one season in the NHL with Buffalo. Last season for the Chelyabinsk club, Antipin scored 17 (4+13) points in 55 KHL regular season games and 3 (1+2) points in 14 Gagarin Cup games.
The new season of the FONBET KHL Championship starts on September 3; in the first match of the season, Barys will host Neftekhimik Nizhnekamsk on September 4.
