Athletistic/Hockey. Metallurg head coach Andrei Razin strongly condemned the actions of Neftekhimik defender Roman Abrosimov, who injured Metallurg forward Daniil Vovchenko with a blow to the head. The Magnitogorsk club’s forward had to be taken away from the venue on a stretcher, but the match officials did not record any rule violations in this episode.

“There are hockey players and there are anti-hockey players. I do not understand such moments and I categorically do not accept them. This should be punished for life and disqualified. This is my personal opinion,” Razin is quoted in the press service of the Magnitogorsk club.

The friendly match at the Ivan Romazan Memorial in Magnitogorsk was not completed and Metallurg suffered a technical defeat. By the time the match was stopped in the middle of the third period, the Magnitogorsk club was leading with a score of 2:1.
