Athletistic/Hockey. Neftekhimik defender Roman Abrosimov hit Metallurg forward Daniil Vovchenko in the head during the Ivan Romazan Memorial match, which took place in Magnitogorsk. As a result of this collision, Vovchenko was injured and could only leave the ice on a stretcher. After watching the video replay, the judges did not find any rule violations in Abrosimov’s actions.

This decision of the referees angered Metallurg head coach Andrei Razin, who decided to remove the team from the ice. As a result, the match was not completed and the Magnitogorsk club suffered a technical defeat. By the time the match was stopped in the middle of the third period, Metallurg was leading with a score of 2:1.
