Athletistic/Football. Washington Capitals captain Alexander Ovechkin said he is confident that Dynamo Moscow will be able to win the Russian Premier League championship. Ovechkin, a graduate of the Dynamo hockey team, played for the club before leaving for the NHL and during the lockout.

“In six rounds, Dynamo showed high-quality football and achieved good results. In the match against Krasnodar, the game was at the same level, although it was a pity that we lost. We support our native club and I believe in its championship,” Ovechkin is quoted by TASS.

After three matches in Group A, Dynamo has scored six points and is in third place in the standings. Krylia Sovetov has not yet won any points and is in fourth place. The group leader is Spartak with six points. In the seventh round, the Blue and White will play against Orenburg on September 1.
