Athletistic/Hockey. Russian forward and Washington Capitals captain Alexander Ovechkin, speaking at the opening of Ovechkin’s office, commented on his chances of breaking Wayne Gretzky’s record for goals in a regular season in the NHL.

Ovechkin, 38, currently has 853 goals, while Gretzky retired with 893 goals.

“As for talking about chasing a record, I’m already used to it, I don’t attach much importance to it. It’s important to go on the ice and do your job,” quotes Sport24 correspondent Alexander Ovechkin.
