The Czech Republic won a voluntary victory with the score of 5: 4, but at the same time Slovakia finally almost turned the game into extra time, recovering from 2: 4.
In the first half, Slovaks Petrovsky and Kashlik scored. The Czech Republic only managed to respond in the second twenty-minute period – Ryshavy, Gut and Shapovaliv scored. And already at the start of the next period, the Czech Republic got a comfortable two-goal lead after Myshak’s goal. Late in the game, the Slovaks secured the majority twice within three minutes and leveled the score thanks to the efforts of Petrovicki and Kashlik.
In the end, Gabriel Sturz once again drove the Czech Republic forward and brought victory to the team.
