The Columbus National Hockey League club officially confirmed the death of its striker.
It should be noted that earlier the media reported that two cyclists died in a collision with a car in New Jersey. Reporters said the dead men were Johnny Gaudreau and his brother Matthew.
Now the hockey club Columbus, officially confirmed the information that Gaudreau died in the accident.
Remember that last season Gaudreau played 81 matches, scored 12 goals and made 48 assists. The forward also played for the US team in the last World Cup. There Johnny played 8 matches and scored 11 (3+8) points.
Gaudreau’s NHL career began in the 2013/2014 season in Calgary, where he played until 2022.
