SKA donated three million rubles to a fund to help children in the Kursk region

The St. Petersburg hockey club SKA has donated three million rubles to a fund to help children in the Kursk region, a correspondent reported on the spot.

On Friday, at the Repino-Leninskoye country club, a presentation of the composition of the military club for the new KHL season took place. The event ended with a charity match in which all SKA players, as well as the team’s head coach Roman Rotenberg and the chairman of the club’s board of directors Alexander Medvedev took part. The match ended with a score of 13:9 in favor of the Blues, for whom Rotenberg played.

In August, the acting governor of the Kursk region, Alexei Smirnov, reported on the social network that the region’s settlements had been subjected to massive shelling from Ukraine and that there had been deaths and injuries among the civilian population.

The new season of the FONBET KHL Championship starts on September 3.
