Carolina Flames forward Pacioretti out for six months with Achilles surgery

Forward “Carolina Hurricanes » Max Pacioretti will undergo surgery to repair a torn Achilles tendon, according to the NHL club’s official website.

Hurricanes general manager Don Waddell said Pacioretti’s scheduled rehab will be six months. The operation will take place on Wednesday.

Last season, Pacioretti played 39 games with the Vegas Golden Knights in the NHL regular season and scored 37 points (19 goals + 18 assists).
