The 2026 Winter Olympics will be held in Milan and Cortina d’Ampezzo, Italy.
Initially, the Russian men’s team was supposed to play in Group C alongside the United States, Slovakia and Latvia. Group A includes Canada, Sweden, Switzerland and Italy, while Group B includes Finland, Germany, the Czech Republic and Denmark.
If Russia is not admitted, its place will be taken by the French team, as the best of those who did not qualify. In this case, the composition of the groups will change as follows:
– Group A: Canada, Switzerland, Czech Republic, France
– Group B: Finland, Sweden, Slovakia, Italy
– Group C: USA, Germany, Latvia, Denmark
