Athletistic/Hockey. Avtomobilist Yekaterinburg hockey players started the new KHL season with a home victory over Traktor Chelyabinsk with a score of 3:2.
Brendan Laipsik (9th minute), Stepan Khripunov (27th minute) and Nick Ebert (34th minute) scored for Avtomobilist. Alexander Sharov (9th minute) and Vitaly Kravtsov (40th minute) scored goals for Traktor.
On September 6, Avtomobilist will play on home ice against Siberia, and Traktor will play an away match against Barys.
